The Friday symposium was a successful exchange between colleagues who arrived from across Canada, as far west as UBC and as far east as the UNB. Filled to capacity the audience was fully engaged in the current issues from 9 am to 5pm. A more detailed update with a summary of the points discussed will follow later. In the meantime, here are the TWEETS that were circulating during the conference, kindly summarized by a colleague. For those of you who are not familiar with all the terms used in the tweet environment, badass is not a negative description – on the contrary. See below the definition from: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=badass
| badass | 3110 up, 1155 down | |

The epitome of the American male. He radiates confidence in everything he does, whether it’s ordering a drink, buying a set of wheels, or dealing with women. He’s slow to anger, brutally efficient when fighting back. The badass carves his own path. He wears, drives, drinks, watches, and listens to what he chooses, when he chooses, where he chooses, uninfluenced by fads or advertising campaigns. Badass style is understated but instantly recognizable. Like a chopped Harley or a good pair of sunglasses: simple, direct, and functional.
