OCUFA update on negotiations at UofT’s University of St. Michael’s College

“…The same cannot be said for St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto; the pace of first contract negotiations there is best described as glacial. The parties have met eight times over four months and have yet to sign off on a single article.  According to Chief Negotiator Colleen Shantz “The foot dragging on the other side of the table is inexplicable given the reasonableness of the union’s positions.  All we are asking for is standard industry language and categories”.
