Noam Chomsky talks about the Munk School of Global Affairs – Rally Tomorrow

The dangers of corporatization was a clear message, articulated well in its full complexity by Dr. Noam Chomsky at UTSC as he talked about the historical development of corporate power and concluding with the Munk School of Global Affairs. Peter Munk is the founder and chair of the Barrick Gold, the international firm which has been globally acknowledged as violating human rights and environmental concerns.

Tomorrow he will be speaking at Hart House on another aspect of today’s talk. This will be followed by a peaceful rally by UT community (student groups, unions, independents and concerned members of our community).

WHEN: Thursday April 7th, 3:00-5:30 pm.  WHERE: Meet on U.T.S.U. lawn (facing Hart House), march to Governing Council (Simcoe Hall).
