CAUT open letter (June 24, 2011) to Daniel Caron, Librarian and Archivist of Canada

Date to June 24, 2011, the following open letter from CAUT (Canadian Association of University Teachers) to the Director of the national Library and Archives  Canada has been posted on the CAUT website. The open letter cites concerns from a range of users and academics in libraries, universities, the publishing industry and heritage organizations across Canada pertaining to access to material and expertise, flaws of digitization projects, cuts in acquisitions and the increased privatization of its holdings.
