The Quiet Librarians Speak Out in CAUT Survey, 2011

Douglas Vaisey, Librarian and Grievance Officer at St. Mary’s University, shared with the CAUT community at the recent conference in Ottawa, Oct. 28 – 29, the results of his survey on academic librarians and grievances. The results offer a good overview of the current issues facing academic librarianship in Canada, as well as, a good introduction to some of the issues being raised at this week’s symposium, Nov. 18, at the Koffler House, University of Toronto.
