On Monday, March 25 from 12 noon to 5:30 UTFA will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Librarians Standing Committee in the University of Toronto’s Faculty Association at the Faculty Club. The event will consist of a lunch (with limited seating), guest speakers, a panel discussion followed by a reception open to the community. Invitations with R.S.V.P will be going out closer to the date (first-come, first-serve).
David Naylor, President of the University of Toronto, Larry Alford, Chief Librarian, Scott Prudham, President of UTFA, Constance Adamson President of OCUFA, as well as, our keynote speaker, Prof. Peter Russell, will be some of the participants who will be joining us to celebrate academic librarianship at our institution. It promises to be an important event, so mark your calendars!
Some of the planned highlights include a showcase of our community’s scholarship and professional creative achievements, a pictorial history of our libraries and recognition of those who have served our community over the years. More information will follow soon.
