Canadian Federal Government Attempted to Deny Access to Records in LAC

“…The government maintained it had no obligation to provide the records in Library and Archives Canada…” this refusal was over turned by Justice Goudge’s decision that “…the federal government is obliged to turn over its archival records on Indian residential schools to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, an Ontario court has determined…”
