“Scientists for the Right to Know” – Faculty at the University of Toronto Speak Up

The increasing ‘muzzling of scientists’ on various levels and in different areas has prompted a group of faculty at the University of Toronto with colleagues across Canada to form a new public awareness group about the increasing restrictions being imposed by the Canadian government.  Freedom of information, expression and enquiry are core values central to academic librarianship, research and an enlightened society. We urge our colleagues to share this information and support their efforts. They are seeking assistance from UofT librarians to work with them. If interested, and for more information about their goals and concerns, see http://scientistsfortherighttoknow.wildapricot.org/
