BC Universities – Faculty and Librarians Unionize – Not Over Monetary Issues

“After a contentious 87-day campaign, faculty members and librarians at the University of Victoria voted to certify as a trade union in a multi-day vote that ended Jan. 24.

The decision may signal a British Columbia trend, with union campaigns currently underway at Simon Fraser University and the University of Northern British Columbia.”
