UTFA_logo1Dear Colleagues,

Please mark your calendars for May 14, 7-9PM. The event will be held in room 119 of Emmanuel College, Victoria University (75 Queen’s Park Crescent).

The purpose of the event is to discuss federal science policy. From the shutting down of federal research facilities to the muzzling of government scientists, the town hall will seek to help understand the depth of the problem and how to adress it.

Background materials can be found on the campaign website: http://getscienceright.ca. Also, CAUT created a Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/659510987417285/) and tweets about the event will be marked using #getscienceright.

We ask that you make every effort to attend and actively recruit members of your constituency. This event addresses a problem that will likely have negative impacts on many generations to come.
